Thanksgiving Turkey take out
Enjoy the holidays without cooking and cleaning up. Let a professional chef cook for you and send you home with all the trimmings. Items included: Roast Turkey, mashed potatoes, assorted roasted vegetables, classic stuffing, fresh pan gravy, tossed salad or mandarin orange salad, fresh cranberry jelly, fresh baked bread and your choice of pie (apple or pumpkin). All items will be fully cooked and ready to serve. The turkey is left intact for you to carve as desired.
Dates available: October 11 - 13
Pick up times: 1:00, 3:00 or 5:00 p.m.

Cooking Classes
We offer hands on and demonstration cooking classes for the home cook. Classes are conducted around the teaching island contributing to an intimate and personal experience with our chef instructors. Classes are offered as single sessions and we encourage you to create your own personalized series from our range of class offerings. Topics change with the seasons and include: ethnic, vegetarian, healthy specific, weeknight meals, entertaining fare and basic cooking skills. Some classes are specifically planned for children.

It's like having your own personal chef, but you do the final cooking. . . We provide and prepare all the ingredients for 5 weekday main dishes for you to assemble and take home to your family. Some optional ingredients can be added or omitted based on personal preferences. We supply the freezer containers, labels, etc. and do all the clean up. You will leave with 5 homemade entrees, ready for the freezer or to cook, each of which will serve an average family of 4 people. Click here for menu details.

Slow Food Movement
Learn to braise and stew your favourite foods, roast and grill fruits and vegetables to perfection. We will be using lamb, beef, and a whole lot more. Each person will take home a liter of Chef’s special ragout.

If you would like to become more "at home" on the “range” or are just starting out at cooking on your own, this class is for you. Allow a professional chef to lead you through demonstration and hands-on food preparation so that you come away knowing how to make a variety of different meals and have the skills to create new ones. Included will be a review of basic must-have equipment for an effective working kitchen.

Knife Skills
Learn to use different types of kitchen knives and keep them sharp. Bring your own paring, chef and boning knives to practice cleaning, sharpening and de-boning chicken and fish. Practice different cuts with a variety of vegetables and a practical focus on butchery for stocks and soups. Each person will go home with a clean chicken and vegetables for their weekend entertaining.

City of Winnipeg Certified Food Handler Training Course
All food establishments with fewer than five food handlers must have at least one staff person that has successfully completed the City of Winnipeg training course. We offer a five hour session which includes coverage of the 11 essential units, practise tests and the final exam.
